From what I’ve heard, DeepSeek AI is a Chinese startup focused on AGI (artificial general intelligence). They’ve released some open-source models that compete with Meta’s Llama. Not sure how advanced they are yet, but seems like they’re aiming for enterprise solutions.
Funny you ask—I just saw a demo of their chatbot, DeepSeek-R1! It’s supposed to handle complex Q&A and coding tasks. Felt smoother than ChatGPT in some technical scenarios, but the English version still has quirks
